Tourist Tax in Tarquinia:

Tourist Tax in Tarquinia:

what changes for guests staying at Europing
Starting from 2026, the Municipality of Tarquinia will officially introduce the tourist tax, a contribution required from guests staying overnight in accommodation facilities in the area, including those choosing Camping Village Europing for their holiday.
We would like to inform you simply and transparently, to avoid doubts or surprises: this tax is not a decision made by the campsite, but a municipal tax applied to all tourist accommodations in the area.

Why has the tourist tax been introduced?
The tourist tax already exists in many Italian tourist destinations. Its purpose is to support the Municipality in managing and improving services related to hospitality, for example:
  • cleaning and maintenance of public areas
  • enhancement of cultural and natural heritage
  • local initiatives and events
  • services useful to both residents and visitors
In short, it is a small contribution that helps Tarquinia become even more well-kept and welcoming.
Tourist tax rates
The amounts established by the Municipality vary depending on the type of stay:
  • €1.50 per day per person for guests staying in a mobile home or bungalow
  • €1.00 per day per person for guests staying on a pitch (tent, campervan or caravan)
How many days is it charged?

The tax is due only for the first 4 days of the stay.
From the 5th day onwards, it will no longer be charged.

Who is exempt from paying?

The municipal regulation provides some exemptions. The tourist tax is not charged for:
  • children aged 0 to 13 years
  • guests aged 70 and above
How is payment made?

The tax is collected directly by the accommodation facility during the stay and then paid to the Municipality according to the required procedures.
We would like to underline that this is a municipal obligation, not a service or cost defined by the campsite.
Our commitment: transparency and hospitality
At Europing we believe that a holiday starts with peace of mind: providing clear information is part of our way of welcoming you.
For any questions or clarifications, our staff is always available at reception.
